Audio Mastering for Encanto Arts 2019

EncantoArts2019

I first met tenor José Iñiguez over five years when we worked together to edit recordings of his vocal performances. As I worked with him, I realized that what he was doing was truly unique. José, the son of an immigrant farmer, was assisting rural youth from underrepresented populations in Washington State through performing arts and education. His Encanto Arts series presents Arias, Boleros, Mariachi and Classical music to an audiences as diverse as the music. The goal of Encanto series is to raise money for college scholarships and for cultural organizations and art groups.

Recently, I had the pleasure to work with him again to mix and master recordings of live performances in Fairbanks, AK. and Seattle for a new CD release that has been submitted to two categories for the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.
