Kazbar Media Produces ‘Give InKind’ Founder Story

Tacoma based startup Give InKind contacted us to tell their brand’s story in video. Founded by Laura Malcolm and James Kocsis, Give InKind is an online platform designed to make support simple. In September, Kazbar Media produced a video campaign to share the story of how Give InKind came to be. The videos were produced to mark the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in October.

Malcolm and Kocsis, a wife and husband team, founded Give InKind after experiencing the trauma of losing their first child to stillbirth. Malcolm was more than 35 weeks pregnant. The loss of their daughter Layla left them devastated. After watching their family and friends struggling to help them through the grieving process, Malcolm and Kocsis decided to create an online platform to “support those who wanted to support others.”

“We founded Give InKind to make support simple,” says Malcolm. The platform they created has allowed tens of thousands of people to support friends, loved ones, and community members in times of need, quarantine, or to celebrate important life events, such as childbirth.
